Aussie Cheekwear founder and designer, Jacqueline Phillips, created Cheekwear after trying unsuccessfully to buy decent shaping underwear that was also SEXY! Nothing was on offer except plain and functional styles.
"There were plenty of expensive, old-fashioned looking shaping options in stores... but nothing really gorgeous to look at - especially for a ‘young’ woman who didn't see her self wearing granny knickers!" Jac knew what she wanted her body sculpting lingerie to do and she knew how it should look and feel - the rest was just putting the pieces together … and soon Cheekwear was born. An Australian brand owned and created by an Australian woman! "Once I had designed the pieces, I needed to get women with ‘real sized bodies’ to test Cheekwear & give me their honest feedback. I had been wearing it myself & after many months of continuous improving, I was thrilled with it, but then maybe I was biased because I had created it?" The orders started flying in from the friends 'testing' Cheekwear as well as from their friends and we hadn’t even put Cheekwear in a store!!
Once you wear quality body sculpting lingerie that makes you look and feel fabulous, it is very hard to go back to underwear that just ‘covers’.
